Hearing about or just looking at food is not equal to eating it. What we eat becomes a part of us. Revelation 10:9 says : I went to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll; and he said to me, "Take it, and eat." The Scroll represents the Gospel. Jesus is the Word of God and the Living Bread. Just hearing or reading the Word of God does not serve the purpose of eating the Word of God. When Jesus becomes a part of our system on a daily basis, the nature of Jesus is reflected in and through us day by day.
Prayer :
Jesus, the Word Incarnate, I desire that YOU be an integral part of my system everyday. Thank YOU for giving YOURSELF to me to give life to my being though I am not worthy. May I ever be eager to consume YOU, the Living Word.
