""They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper."" Psalm 1:3.

Theme 93 : Qualification of Childlikeness

The spirituality of St Therese of Child Jesus, her "little way", teaches us that the smallest action, done with love, is more important than the great deeds done for personal glory, gratification or simply out of obedience. Her greatness was in the constancy of her love in the most simple ways. Her prayer was talking to Jesus in direct, personal and heartfelt ways just as a child speaks honestly and trustingly to the parents.  St Therese invites us to join in her "spiritual childhood". God calls us to respond to the Divine Love in a childlike relationship of love, trust and bold confidence in God. Being child-like is the qualification we need to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Prayer :
Ever loving and most trustworthy God, without YOU, I am nothing. How I wish to be immersed in the Ocean of YOUR Love! Let me come to YOU keeping all my worldly degrees and qualifications away..just like a child.. Draw me ever closer to YOU, my dear God, as I place all my trust in YOU.
